Physical Education (PE)

Early Years Foundation Stage – Physical Development 

The educational programme for physical development, set out in the EYFS Framework, is delivered in our preschool, nursery and reception classes in line with the Extend Nursery and Preschool Curriculum and the Extend Reception Curriculum

Key Stage 1 and 2 – Physical Education (PE) 

We follow the national curriculum. 

We use The PE Hub scheme of work to teach PE.

At Bournville Primary, Year 3, 4 and 5 have swimming lessons for 1 term per year. with qualified swimming instructors.

I know why a personal best is important and challenge myself to achieve it.

 

I can explore and describe different movements and identify when music changes
